Barbara Rowe, nee Hoogterp, aged 52, of Grand Rapids, crossed the river to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 16, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Dorothy Hoogterp.
She is survived by her daughter, Emily (Joe) Bastien; four sons, Billy (Julie) Rowe, Brad Rowe, Ben (Christina) Rowe, Brandon Rowe; six grandchildren; longtime friend, Dave Berninger; seven sisters, Joan Loveland, Ruth Ashley, Terry (John) Foley, Mary (Jim) Brewer, Angela (Bobbie Rosencrans) Hoogterp, Susan (Doug) Shank, Sara (Mike) Yob; five brothers, Francis (Betty) Hoogterp, Martin (Barb) Hoogterp, Thomas (Kathy) Hoogterp, Edward (Millie) Hoogterp, Daniel (Helena) Hoogterp; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, December 20, at 11 a.m.
